49) Redo my room
I had an ocean themed room when I was 7 or 8 but as years went by, the ocean theme faded and just a mixture of random things happened. I wanted a modern/tumblr/simple theme so I decided to organize and change my room.
I'd like to thank my friend Vittoria for helping and I'd also like to thank Glad forceflex garbage bags for being there to hold my trash.

Before-
I have a green desk that was originally blue but I painted it green (I painted it myself) when I was about 9 or 10. I always used to cram stuff on it because I'm too lazy to put things away.
I had peace sign sheets, zebra window curtains, and a pink zebra comforter. Also, notice how messy my shelves were and all the things hanging on the wall.
Same picture as one before but taken a few days earlier. I also had green dottie sheets. Look at my mini fridge behind my bed. There's stuff all over it! Talk about messy and lazy.
I took this after redo-ing my room because I didn't have a picture. Anywho, I had a rose print on my armoire.
After-
Before, I had a completely cover dresser top. These cute L and A signs will be hung on my wall above my dresser soon but I may have to wait until next month for my dad to hang them. They were silver metal but I spray painted them white. (they stand for Los Angeles as in the city in California). All that's on my dresser top is speakers, remotes, air spray, and my summer reading.
I picked a simple duvet cover with a pop of color. I have white sheets now but it's harder to have white because you can't eat or drink in bed or you will stain the sheets (and duvet cover). I like it because it makes me feel awake (jk but really)
It's hard having sheers instead of curtains because you can still see light but I got used to it. I got them at Target. P.S. I got rid of the basket and put my stuffed animals in the closet next to the attic.
I cleaned off my mini fridge and decided to collect my Arizonas on. My shelf is different because I got a fish last month so the second shelf is occupied. I cleaned the bottom shelf off and made different organized bins. (in order from l to r- discs/dvds/cds; electronics/DS; yearbooks; random). Also the shelf above my fish shelf is fiction and chapter books and the shelf above is self-help and stuff like beauty books and embarrassing story books.
I got rid of 95% of the things on this bookcase and floor. (see the panels that were on my armoire..? lol.) I have my magazines on the second shelf and international things/GL magazines on the third.
My friend and I took the panels out of my armoire and I probably will replace the gap with glass. I used to have a Twilight puzzle in there but I put that in a room where hopefully, I'll never see it again. But nothing really new about my armoire. OH WAIT! I cleaned up the top of it. There was a panda stuffed animal on it and a bottle with glitter/glowstick liquid (and old christmas candy. ew)
I cleaned my desk off and now my drawers are empty and there's not crap piling it.
(Excuse the pillow on the floor.) I had so much sticky, broken, old, and random junk in my nightstand drawer and cubby to where it was disgusting. Also, I had brown sticky ick on the nightstand. I cleaned it all off and cleaned it up.
Thanks! It took a week or two and I was so tired and sore. I have this board in my hall of my room that has panels (whiteboards, tackboards, and chalkboard) and I made it look better.
:)
